RSPB Annual Review highlights quarry restoration benefits
Posted on Tuesday 31 October 2017, 04:00

In its annual review for 2016-2017, the RSPB included coverage of how, increasingly, quarries are being turned into ‘homes for nature’ as part of their restoration plans.

The piece, on page 16, provides mention of NAM’s 10th anniversary and highlights how – when such sites are restored with nature firmly in mind – people also benefit from being able to get close to the natural environment near where they live.

A copy of this review and this reference to the benefits of quarry restoration are available for download from the RSPB website here.
