White-clawed crayfish conservation in restored quarries

Does anyone have any case-studies (UK or beyond) of restored quarries being managed for white-clawed crayfish conservation? I am aware of one in Yorkshire, any others to date?

    Many thanks,

    Paula

Crayfish are a fantastic example of the sorts of species that thrive following mineral extraction work.

Buglife are working on a Crayfish project at present, mostly focussing on the South West region. It might be worth contacting them directly to discuss, a link to a summary of their work is below.
